No Wii for me. Headed down to the store at 7pm and while they were getting 90 units in, there was more then a hundred in line. While horrible, I doubt it'll be as short suppy as the PS3, so I should be able to get one by the end of the year.
I'll still pick up Zelda and a few accessories, and I still have Gears of War and Phantasy Star Universe to play with.
AND, I found out that I'm working on black friday. Ugh. |

The Angry Nintendo Nerd has got nothing on MC MOTHERLOVE CHRIS.
I bought a new computer monitor, 19" widescreen. Makes Xbox360 games look oh so very nice.
One month till Wii comes out, not sure if I'll be able to get it on day one, but I will be doing some rearranging in the room so I can do Wiimote kung-fu in front of the TV. |

| | Oblivion opening theme | ] | 29th Birthday is on thursday, and I now find I am old enough to predect the weather with my bones. My left knee starts to crack like a knuckle when its about to rain, which isn't all that impressive here in Washington state..
Saw V for Vendetta this weekend and it was alright. I didn't care for the opening or ending bits, but everything from the TV station takeover to the Million V March was good. At least it was better then From Hell and LXG. |

Perhaps I'm more pampered then I think. :)
At least Seattle made it to the Superbowl this time. We'll win next year. |

Happy new year everyone.
I don't like making resolutions since I useally forget I made them in the first place. I do want to take some college courses again as well as take up Tai Chi again. There is a school is seattle called Wing Lam Kung Fu that teaches Sun Style Tai Chi, a form that interests me more the the Yang style I was learning at the community center. $85 a month for two classes a week dosn't sound that bad.
Then there is the temptation to use my upcoming tax refund to buy a Widescreen HDTV.. No wonder people want to belive in a state lotto. Money can't buy you love, but a good amount of it it can help take some pressure off What You Need so you can devote more time to What You Want. :P The fact I refuse to live in debt (Main reason I haven't looked at student loans.) makes such things more fustrating.
In other news, there is a new gameplay video for Zelda: Twilight Princess. Almost thirty minutes long and shows some cattle rustling, swordfighting on horseback and a boss fight.
Game can't come out soon enough. |

[Oct. 23rd, 2005|10:17 pm] |
Regular computer still in a coma, but I have raised an 7 year old Compaq Presario back to life for my needs. Less then 500mhz cpu, 64mb ram, (compaq's motherboard is not upgrade friendly.) Windows 98 and a non-working CD-rom drive aside, it is working alright. (Thanks to you manufacturers who put your drivers online.)
It'll at least let me hold off on buying a new computer for awhile. |

| [ | mood |
| | hungry for brains | ] | I called Hewlett-Packard on wednesday and they sent me a replacement Recovery disk that I receved today, tried it, system still would'nt boot up. Tried it again, still nothing. Called them back and after fiddling with things they say that the CD is defective and they'll send me another.
I, of course, know my computer is screwed and I'll need a new one. (broken one is only two years old) I really don't want a new computer at this time since I've been saving for the new X-box (and College!) for awhile.. I'll give the new CD a go though. I wouldn't mind even going for a full reformatting (which the recovery CD won't let me do..) or buying a new copy of XP.
At least with a new computer I'll still be able to play Oblivion and Quake 4. |

Hopefully I can get it fixed and won't need a new one.. |
